About Us
ACAA is an organization under the general corporation law of the state of Arkansas.
ACAA is a non-political, non-religious, non-profit organization under the section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The mission of ACAA is to establish an active Chinese-American community contributing to the social and economic development of the state of Arkansas. ACAA serves as a main voice that represents and advocates all legally permissible rights for its members, and provides opportunities for networking, community services, and personal and professional growth for its members. ACAA promotes the appreciation of Chinese culture and heritages, and cross-cultural exchange with other ethnic groups through its strong network and collective outreach efforts.
阿肯色华人协会是依据阿肯色州普通公司法成立的组织。
阿肯色华人协会是适用联邦税务条款501(c)(3)非政治，非宗教，非营利性组织。
阿肯色华人协会致力于建立一个贡献于阿肯色经济和社会发展的活跃的华裔美国人社会群体。华协代表并争取其会员的合法权益。提供会员互相交流，社区服务，及个人和专业发展的机会。华协通过和其他族裔的文化交流活动以促进弘扬中华优秀传统文化。
Board of Directors: At the annual meeting, members elect the Board of Directors to manage the property and daily operations of ACAA. All active members are eligible to nominate and/or to be nominated as candidates of the Board. Term limit for board directors is two years. If reselected, a board director may serve two consecutive terms of two years unless the board unanimously approves it.
董事会：由会员年会选举确定以进行管理协会的日常运作。现任会员有提名，选举和被选举权。董事会成员的一个任期为两年。连续当选可以服务两个任期。但是会长的连任必须取得董事会每个成员的同意。
